3rd Annual Cannabis Law Conference

The Annual Cannabis Law Conference is held to provide a learning forum for practitioners, judges, regulators, and policy analysts to enhance knowledge and practice for those representing clients in or related to the cannabis industry.
Learning objectives:
- Participants will learn about potential upcoming legislative changes affecting the cannabis industry.
- Participants will learn about regulatory perspectives and potential changes affecting the cannabis industry, practice, and procedure.
- Participants will gain an understanding of regulatory policy development affecting the cannabis industry.

Membership Open to Boyd Law Students
Purpose
The immediate and long-range goals of the Cannabis Law Section are:
- Enhance the role and skills of the lawyers engaged in the practice of cannabis law through study, collection, development and dissemination of materials on subjects of interest to cannabis law practitioners;
- Assist in the formation, administration and implementation of programs, forums and other activities for the education of members of the State Bar of Nevada in matters pertaining to cannabis laws and regulations including, without limitation, continuing legal education opportunities; and
- Recognize and discuss means of improving the law and the practice of law in the field of cannabis law.
