Taking the Mystery Out of Sales Tax Audits

12:00p – 1:00p

1 General CLE Credit

Taxpayers who are contacted for audit by the Nevada Department of Taxation should be prepared to support their reporting of taxable sales. In such a case that the taxpayer and Department disagree on an audit outcome, there is an appeal process. This talk will help take the guesswork out of the audit and appeal process so that lawyers may better advise their clients with respect to the Nevada Department of Taxation. Additionally, a few of the frequently encountered errors will be discussed.

Please note that lunch will be served to in-person attendees.
