The State Bar of Nevada’s Board of Continuing Legal Education is established under Nevada Supreme Court Rules 205-215 to accredit continuing legal education providers, certify educational programs available for credit, and to oversee and facilitate attorney compliance with annual requirements.
The Board and staff are committed to:
- Providing exceptional customer service for members and course providers;
- Certifying quality educational programming relevant to the practice of law; and
- Facilitating annual compliance with annual credit hour and fee requirements.
Annual Requirements
Attorneys subject to annual CLE requirements must complete 13 credit hours by December 31 annually:
- 10 general credits
- 2 ethics credits
- 1 credit in the area of substance abuse, addictive disorders and/or mental health issues that impair professional competence
