On October 5, 2021, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order scheduling a public hearing in ADKT 0577 regarding proposed amendments to the Supreme Court Rules (SCRs) pertaining to general administrative function in light of the transfer of the operations of the Nevada Board of Continuing Legal Education to the State Bar of Nevada. The state bar’s Board of Governors is considering a grant program that puts MCLE reserve funds to use.
The Nevada Supreme Court will conduct a public hearing on this matter on November 18 at 3 p.m. in the Supreme Court courtroom in Carson City, and will be videoconferenced to the courtroom in Las Vegas.
Persons interested in participating in the hearing or submitting written comments must contact the clerk no later than 5 p.m. on November 9. Written comments are invited and must be submitted to Elizabeth A. Brown, Clerk of the Supreme Court, 201 S. Carson St., Carson City, NV 89701.
