On October 21, 2021, the Nevada Supreme Court received a petition requesting the court amend Supreme Court Rules 8 and 9, regarding Regional Judicial Councils and the Judicial Council of the State of Nevada. The court has issued an order in ADKT 0587 scheduling a public hearing and requesting comments regarding ADKT 0587.
The public hearing will take place in the Supreme Court courtroom in Las Vegas, and will be videoconferenced to the courtroom in Carson City, on Monday, December 6, at 4 p.m. Persons interested in participating in the hearing or submitting written comments must contact the clerk no later than 5 p.m. on November 30.
Written comments are invited and must be submitted to Elizabeth A. Brown, Clerk of the Supreme Court, 201 S. Carson St., Carson City, NV 89701. Comments and requests to participate may also be submitted via email to nvscclerk@nvcourts.nv.gov.
