On Jan. 8, 2024, the Las Vegas Township Justice Court issued Administrative Order AO 24-01, which reassigns domestic violence cases in that court. According to the order, “all cases with at least one count of domestic violence as defined by NRS 33.018 shall be assigned, automatically, to the Court’s Domestic-Violence Departments (“DV Departments’) based on the DV Department assigned to the original tracking department for the applicable case.” AO 24-01 contains further orders regarding combined case types.
The order becomes effective immediately and supersedes Administrative Order 15-04.
