From March 7 to March 9, 2022, the Second Judicial District Court issued four administrative orders regarding jury trials. These orders include:
- Administrative Order 2022-01: regarding the resumption of jury trials on the criminal docket, and cases that will be prioritized as part of Trial Flight (TF) 22. Unless otherwise ordered by pre-trial order in an individual department, all motions in TF 22 cases must be fully briefed and submitted not later than April 4, 2022.
- Administrative Order 2022-02: regarding the resumption of jury trials on the civil docket, and the cases that will be included as part of Trial Stack (TS) 15. TS 15 shall commence on May 3, 2022.
- Administrative Order 2022-04: regarding presiding judge, committee and liaison assignments for Second Judicial District Court judges.
- Administrative Order 2022-05: regarding the release of copies of jury questionnaires, which shall only be provided to appropriate court personnel, attorneys, their agents or employees, and/or self-represented litigants.
