On Oct. 19, 2022, the Second Judicial District Court issued Administrative Order (AO) 2022-13, appointing Chief Judge Lynne K. Simons to serve as the election judge to hear emergency election disputes for the Second Judicial District Court for the general election scheduled for November 8, 2022.
The order also states that the Clerk of the Court will open the Second Judicial District Court for extended hours on Nov. 8, 2022, beginning at 7 a.m. and remaining open for document filing and processing until 30 minutes after the last voter has reported in Washoe County. Only filings related to the election will be accepted during the extended hours; filings may be placed electronically, including in-person assisted electronic filing, at 75 Court Street, Reno NV 89501.
