The State Bar of Nevada’s conference planning committee solicits section proposals for the 2025 Bar Conference in Washington, D.C. Proposals may be selected for general and breakout session topics. The deadline to submit a proposal is December 2, 2024 using the form provided below.


Guidelines for Submission

  1. Sessions are 60 minutes;
  2. The Planning Committee will favor those proposals that:
    • Appeal to a broad audience and provide content specific to practice in Nevada.
    • Include an ethics or substance abuse/mental health component.
    • Have speaker(s) representing geographic diversity within the state. 
  3. The state bar welcomes CLE proposals from state bar sections, as well as from individuals and other interested parties.

Conference Registration and Travel Reimbursement:

  • Your attendance at the conference is about more than just the presentation. Discussion about the topics presented continue throughout the conference. Therefore, we ask that all speakers register to attend. To offset your expenses, the state bar offers a discount on registration fees for CLE session speakers (max 3 people per session).
  • Getting to the conference and conference registration fees are the responsibility of the speaker or the section/organization submitting the proposal.
  • We want to see your beautiful faces! Speakers are asked to present in-person at the conference.
  • State bar sections have the discretion to reimburse speakers representing the section at the conference. If you seek reimbursement, please obtain section leadership permission prior to submitting your proposal.
