On May 26, 2022, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order in ADKT 0598 to conduct a public hearing to consider proposed Rules of Conduct for Lawyers Representing Children in Welfare Cases. The proposed Rules of Conduct can be found attached to the order as Exhibit A.
A second hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 22, 2022 at 3 p.m focusing solely on proposed rule (b)(ii), in the Supreme Court courtroom in Carson City, and will be videoconferenced to the courtroom in Las Vegas. Persons interested in participating in the hearing or submitting written comments must contact the clerk no later than 5 p.m. on Sept. 15.
