On August 26, 2022, the Las Vegas Township Justice Court filed Administrative Order (AO) 22-07, which supersedes AO 15-03 and assigns cases involving driving or operating a vessel under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance and vehicular crimes resulting in death or substantial bodily harm to a single department.
Cases in which the defendants are charged with the following offenses will automatically be assigned to this department:
- All DUIs (misdemeanor or felony)
- Vehicular Homicide
- Homicide by Vessel
- Reckless Driving Causing Death or Substantial Bodily Harm
- Leaving the Scene/Duty to Stop at Scene of Accident Resulting in Bodily Injury or Death
- Vehicular manslaughter
