On July 21, 2023, the Eighth Judicial District Court issued Administrative Order (AO) 23-04, regarding photographing, filming, and recording non-judicial proceedings within the district’s courthouses. The order, which is effective immediately, prohibits photographing, recording, or filming in the common areas of Eighth Judicial District Court courthouses, including the ante-areas of the courtrooms, without obtaining prior authorization to do so from the chief judge, the court executive officer, or the court public information officer.
