Supreme Court Issues Amendment to SCR 252(2)(e) re: Plea Acceptance
On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order in ADKT 0491 amending SCR 252(2)(e), regarding criminal settlement conferences. The amendment allows any judge, other than the settlement judge, to accept the defendant’s plea as recommended by the Commission on Statewide Rules of Criminal Procedure. The amendments can be found in Exhibit A of the ADKT.
