Standardized Forms for Protection Orders: New Mandatory Effective Date Nov. 1
On Thursday, June 4, 2020, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order in ADKT 0269 approving revisions to the standardized protection order forms used for domestic violence cases in all Nevada courts. On Thursday, July 2, the court issued an order announcing that the use of standardized forms is discretionary as of Monday, June 6, 2020.
The use of forms becomes mandatory on November 1, 2020.
