On Friday, April 9, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order in ADKT 0567 scheduling a public hearing to assess the status of the Temporary Residential Summary Eviction Mediation Rules established in October 2020. In response to Governor Steve Sisolak’s emergency directive extending Nevada’s residential eviction moratorium to June 30, 2021, on April 8, 2021, the Nevada Supreme Court issued an order extending the temporary eviction mediation rules through June 30, 2021.
The public hearing will be virtual and can be viewed at www.nvcourts.gov/supreme.
Persons interested in participating in the hearings or submitting written comments must notify the clerk no later than 5 p.m. on May 27, 2021. Participation will be possible via www.bluejeans.com – login information is available in the ADKT.
