Publications Discounts

Bar Section Member Discounts

Members of bar sections are eligible for a 15% discount on publications produced in partnership with their sections. Discounts are currently available for:

  • Nevada Appellate Practice Manual
  • Nevada Gaming Law Practice and Procedure Manual

To obtain your discount, contact your section chair or section’s bar liaison and request the discount code to apply when making your applicable online purchase.

ABA Books for Bars Program

As a member benefit, the State Bar of Nevada has joined the American Bar Association’s Books for Bars program! This means you are now eligible for a 15 percent discount on your book purchases with the American Bar Association at the Shop ABA website.

Simply click Shop ABA, make your book selections and add them to your cart. At checkout you will be prompted to enter a “Promo Code.” Enter the special Books for Bars member discount code created for the State Bar of Nevada. The ABA store will automatically calculate your discount – it’s that easy! And you can use your discount as often as you wish. As a State Bar of Nevada member, you can purchase books for your practice or your personal library and save 15 percent!

NOTE: The ABA Books for Bars discount and discount code is for State Bar of Nevada members only and may not be shared with non-members or via any social media outlets or public internet postings. Periodically the 15 percent discount may not apply to certain purchases (as designated by particular ABA Sections regarding the sale of their books and/or webinars). If this is the case, the discount code will not deduct 15 percent from those items when entered in the “Promo Code” box.
