Washoe County Bar Association and William S. Boyd School of Law – Pipeline Program: Mentorship

Are you an experienced attorney, practicing in Washoe County for 10+ years? Or a current Boyd Law student? Sign up for our new Pipeline Program for a “Speed Mentoring” afternoon via Zoom!  You’ll meet with potential matches for 5 minutes each in breakout rooms. At the end of the session, our students will confidentially provide their choices for mentors to our Executive Director. The mentorship program will run from April – August 2025. You & your mentor will decide what the best mentorship plan & programming for you is, whether you hold regular Zoom sessions, shadow your mentor in person, visit during the summer & attend legal events to get to know the Northern Nevada legal field, etc. One team will be chosen by the WCBA Executive Board at the end of the program to author an article in The Writ publication. Mentors will receive free membership to the WCBA in 2026. Boyd Law students’ membership is always free at the WCBA.
