Artificial intelligence (AI) can mean everything and nothing. It is an all-encompassing marketing term for a host of technologies such as machine learning, large language processing, predictive analytics, and content generation. For this program, we will use the term AI to reference computer systems capable of performing tasks that historically required human intelligence, such as recognizing speech, making decisions, creating new content, and identifying patterns. This input and output can range from an e-discovery platform combing through terabytes of data all the way to using ChatGPT to test cross-examination questions. These tools can generate content and reach conclusions.

At this one-day online training, NACDL will discuss hot topics in AI, how you might integrate these tools into your practice, use them ethically, and, how you might attack law enforcement’s use of AI tools to ensnare your clients.
