This one-hour CLE offers a practical introduction to patent and trademark law from the perspective of two experienced IP paralegals. Attendees will learn the basics of patents and trademarks, how each is obtained and maintained, and what it’s like to work in the field. The program will cover key paralegal responsibilities, walk through real-world examples—including notable litigation—and provide space for questions about careers in Intellectual Property.

FACULTY
Lindsey Corbin is the founder of delegate.legal and brings more than fifteen years of trademark industry experience across both in-house and Big Law settings. Before launching delegate.legal, she served as Vice President of Contracts and Franchise Administration at private equity firm Outlier. Lindsey has managed major international trademark portfolios, built brand protection programs, and developed legal billing systems for corporate legal teams. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies and a Paralegal Studies certification from Emory University, and is passionate about helping attorneys grow and scale their practices.
Aubre Rabe is the founder & senior IP paralegal at AR Legal Solutions. With more than 15 years of experience in U.S. and international patent prosecution, Aubre Rabe is known for her efficiency, tech-savviness, and process-driven approach. She helped develop IP systems for a global corporation and was an early adopter of electronic USPTO correspondence. Aubre also teaches legal courses and enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time outdoors.
