Make A Difference: Apply for appointment to a State Bar Committee.
Leadership of the state bar not only involves the Board of Governors but also the lawyers throughout the state who make significant contributions to the profession by volunteering to serve on one of the state bar’s committees.
Participation in a bar committee not only provides valuable service to the bar, but it is personally rewarding. These activities help your practice, introduce you to other lawyers, and help the public, enhance your reputation and gain a frame of reference outside of your practice.
The State Bar of Nevada’s Board of Governors appoints members to committees five times a year, during board meetings. You can find a current schedule of meetings on our Board of Governors page.
