The State Bar of Nevada is currently accepting applications for a Paralegal/Investigator. This is a full-time, non-exempt position performing high-level paralegal and investigative work for the Office of Bar Counsel in the area of discipline. Excellent research and writing skills required. Particular qualifications include: ability to investigate discipline matters and prepare summaries and documents to assists attorneys; and draft pleadings including, but not limited to, Complaints, Subpoenas, Petitions and Trial Briefs. COMPUTER SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

The State Bar of Nevada is currently accepting applications for a Computer Support Technician. This position will serve as the main internal support to the Information Services of the state bar. The continued functionality and usability of the bar's technology and information systems are the main focus of this position. Responsibilities include: acquisition and maintenance of hardware and software for the state bar and interfacing with outside tech support. Duties include PCI compliance, payment gateway maintenance and support, phone system administration, analysis and repair of user hardware and software problems, setting up new users, printer/copier/fax issues, learning and maintaining new software, video conferencing setup, IT security initiatives, internal IS auditing function, development and implementation of IS internal controls, and record retention strategies. The position also serves as back up to mail clerk and receptionist. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in computer science or information systems. A strong knowledge of network and computer systems is a must. This position requires at least two years of experience in a related position; Experience in a position requiring these skills may be substituted for advanced education.
