The State Bar of Nevada is currently accepting applications for a Paralegal. This is a full-time, non-exempt position performing high-level paralegal and investigative work for the Office of Bar Counsel in the area of discipline. Excellent research, writing and investigative skills are required.  Must have five (5) years minimum high-level paralegal experience.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Investigates files for screening panels. Prepares case summaries and presents to bi-monthly screening panels. Conducts investigations, interviews witnesses and conducts and prepares legal research and memorandum and drafts correspondence, as assigned.

  • Drafts various disciplinary pleadings, including but not limited to complaints, motions, petitions, trial and appellate briefs, reprimands, orders, findings and recommendations and subpoenas.
