Nevada Supreme Court Seeks Comments by May 14 re: Modification to July Bar Exam
On Thursday, May 7, the Nevada Supreme Court issued ADKT 558, inviting public comment regarding proposed modifications to the July 2020 Nevada Bar Exam.
Chief Justice Kristina Pickering and Associate Chief Justice Mark Gibbons filed a petition recommending that the court modify the format of the July 2020 Nevada Bar Examination as proposed by the Nevada Board of Bar Examiners in Exhibit A. The court is inclined to approve the proposal.
The Board of Bar Examiners proposes to hold the July 2020 Bar Exam as scheduled, with a modified format. The format as proposed states that the exam would consist of eight Nevada essay questions and a Nevada MPT question. The MBE would not be administered for the July exam. For more information on the proposed modifications, see Exhibit A of the ADKT.
