ViewSupreme Court Amends Rule Regarding Foreclosure Mediation Program
On December 6, 2012, the Supreme Court issued an order that amended the rules regarding the Foreclosure Mediation Program. The amendments included the adoption of a mediator code of conduct and are effective as of January 1, 2013.
The Foreclosure Mediation Program was created by the legislature in 2009 to help address the growing foreclosure crisis in Nevada by helping homeowners and lenders come together to discuss alternative to foreclosure.
