State Bar's LRE Coordinator Selected to Attend Exclusive U.S. Supreme Court Summer Institute
Kathleen Dickinson, the State Bar of Nevada's Law Related Education Coordinator, will participate in the U.S. Supreme Court's prestigious Summer Institute this year. Only 60 educators nationwide earned spots at this year's institute.
The Supreme Court Summer Institute, open to teachers in the field of law-related and civic education, is co-sponsored by Street Law, Inc. and the Supreme Court Historical Society. Attendees will study recent Supreme Court cases in detail, under the tutelage of well-known Supreme Court attorneys, reporters, scholars and educators, and learn new and innovative ways to pass this information on to their students.
Dickinson will travel to Washington, D.C. for the institute on June 14. She will bring new skills and teaching methods back to the State Bar of Nevada to bolster the many Continuing Legal Education programs it supports. For a list of these programs
